I got the thing back a few days ago and found that 3 more of the total of 6 100K pots had fallen apart the same way. The wiper just came off and fell out the bottom. I replaced the PC board mount pots with panel mount. I used old IDE cable for the wires. That one still works. I got them from Mouser. They are a couple of dollars each. It was a snug fit since the knobs were keyed at 220 degrees and the pots had to be oriented straight up and down.
